Plato, a startup building simulated environments for training and testing browser-based AI agents, has raised $16.0M in Series A funding. The round drew backing from Nava Ventures, Gradient Ventures, Transpose Platform, and Mustafa Suleyman.
The company's platform lets developers build and evaluate AI agents inside controlled, simulated worlds rather than live browsers - a setup meant to make testing safer and more repeatable.
