CareLumi raised $2.5M in pre-seed funding to build what it calls a verification layer for healthcare AI. The company checks the AI, automations, and software that healthcare organizations already run, across both administrative and clinical work, so that every action is logged, checked, and traceable.
The round drew Izou Partners, WellForge, LongJump, Fifth Star Funds, Chicago Early Growth Ventures, SCS Innovations, and the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago. CareLumi's pitch is that rogue or non-compliant activity gets stopped, threats get flagged, and a human signs off on every output.
