Enamel, once lost, is gone forever. But Eterna Regeneratives, a biomaterials platform aiming to change that with its patented approach to tissue regeneration, has closed a $4.0M seed round. The London-based company uses keratin derived from sheep wool to guide new mineral growth, with initial applications in enamel repair and bone.
The seed investment saw participation from Hoxton Ventures and The Venture Collective (TVC). Eterna Regeneratives' platform is built on a decade of biomineralisation research conducted at King's College London, translated by a team spanning materials science, dentistry, and consumer health.
