Botsi has raised $1.5M in an angel round backed by Telegraph Ventures and Plain Sight Capital, giving the startup fresh fuel for its pitch to subscription app makers: stop guessing what users will pay.
The company sells AI-powered pricing tools that plug into an app via three API calls, then build a custom model trained on that app’s own performance data. Developers tell Botsi which price points to consider, send a few data points at launch, and the system decides what to show each user to maximize revenue. No migration required, and it works alongside existing tech stacks. The round’s backers are betting that dynamic, per-user pricing-still a rarity in subscription software-can become a standard layer for apps looking to squeeze more value out of their paywalls.
