Ajiwow Inc., the Tokyo food-tech company behind the cooking-record service ROKU SHOKU, has raised $310K. The round's investors and structure were not disclosed.
ROKU SHOKU captures a chef's process at high precision - down to one second, one degree Celsius and one gram - and turns it into data, then into a navigable recipe that lets someone else reproduce the dish faithfully. Ajiwow also runs a restaurant and offers delivery, bento and cooking classes, using those channels to put chef-quality food in front of a wider audience.
