Glitch Detectives is an education technology company helping children become better thinkers in an AI-powered world. For many children, a blank page can feel intimidating. They are expected to know where to start, choose the right strategy, solve the problem, and produce the correct answer—all at once. We take a different approach. Instead of always asking children to solve a problem from scratch, we give them a completed problem and ask them to investigate it. Was it solved correctly? Where is the glitch? How can it be repaired? Can you explain why? Children become error hunters, examining worked solutions, spotting mistakes, repairing them, and defending their reasoning through our four-step learning loop: Investigate → Detect → Repair → Explain This approach helps reduce the pressure of the blank page while turning mistakes into opportunities for deeper mathematical thinking. Our resources and learning experiences are designed for K–6 learners, using playful challenges, puzzles, hidden errors, and real-world problems to develop mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and verification skills. In a world where AI can generate an answer in seconds, children need more than the ability to produce answers. They need to know how to question, check, reason, and decide whether an answer actually makes sense. That is what we are building at Glitch Detectives. Our mission: To help children become curious, confident thinkers who don't simply accept an answer, they investigate it.
