Vangrid has pulled in $9.0M in seed funding, a bet that its decentralized perception grid can become the backbone for sovereign defense and autonomous physical agents. The round was backed by Hashkey, Borderless, Crypto.com Capital, Animoca Brands, Gate Labs, and Mapleblock Capital.
The company, which describes itself as building a shared sensing layer for machines and military systems, is tapping into a growing appetite for infrastructure that lets autonomous agents operate with real-time, distributed awareness. With crypto-native investors like Animoca and Crypto.com Capital in the mix, the raise signals a crossover between blockchain-style network design and defense-tech ambitions.
