Stemora, Inc. has raised $25K in funding from Tedco. The preclinical-stage biotechnology company is developing a one-step, disease-modifying regenerative therapy for osteoarthritis.
The therapy works by activating the body's own skeletal stem cells to regenerate native hyaline cartilage, targeting the root cause of osteoarthritis rather than just managing symptoms. Stemora holds an exclusive worldwide license from Stanford University and is pursuing an FDA 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway.
