Seamoretech has raised $1.2M in seed funding to scale its brine valorization technology, which extracts Critical Raw Materials from desalination waste streams. The round drew backing from Rypples, Seven Seas Capital, CrĂ©dito AgrĂcola, Jerome Ternynck, Sofia Dos Santos Nunes, Jorge J., and Jorge Gonçalves.
The company says its process delivers an uninterrupted, fully traceable supply of critical minerals at a fraction of the cost and energy of conventional mining, while doubling freshwater recovery from desalination waste streams. It also claims Zero Liquid Discharge compliance and an 80% cut in carbon footprint.
