AI agents are increasingly taking on the grunt work of finance, and OCTA, a startup specializing in this automation, has just closed a $3.5M seed round. The new capital will fuel the company's mission to streamline accounting and finance operations for its growing base of over 900 teams.
OCTA's platform, which includes OCTA Flow for accounting firms and OCTA Core for in-house teams, uses AI to handle tasks like reconciliation, accounts payable, and financial reporting, allowing human teams to focus on review and approval. Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP) and Wa'ed Ventures led the investment, joined by Plug and Play, A-typical Ventures, Sukna Ventures, and Sadu Capital.
