Imagine concrete that sequesters carbon and self-heals cracks. That's the vision driving Neocrete, the New Zealand startup that just raised $3.5M from investors including Wavemaker Ventures, Icehouse Ventures, and Catalytic Capital for Climate and Health.
Neocrete's technology currently replaces up to 50% of cement in concrete without compromising performance, making it more durable. With its solutions already proven in New Zealand, the company is now gearing up to produce at scale for global pilots, aiming for a complete cement replacement by 2027.
