Reframe Systems has raised $40.0M, a round backed by a deep bench of investors including Energy Impact Partners, Eclipse, and RA Capital Management’s Planetary Health fund, among others. The company is building low-cost robotic microfactories aimed at producing and retrofitting net-zero homes at a claimed 2x speed and 2x lower cost, with a 10x reduction in carbon footprint.
The funding brings together a mix of climate-focused funds, venture firms, and strategic backers like MassMutual Catalyst and LACI Impact Fund, signaling interest across both housing and energy transition circles. Reframe’s pitch is straightforward: treat housing as infrastructure that can be manufactured, not just constructed, to make resilient homes more accessible.
