ETPLink has raised $7.0M to keep simplifying the plumbing behind exchange-traded products. The company builds a distributed-ledger platform for the primary market, handling creation and redemption transactions for authorised participants, market makers, issuers, custodians, transfer agents and program trading desks.
Its pitch is consolidation: a single web interface and API connectivity (FIX or web services) that replace the proprietary platforms and dedicated communication channels firms otherwise have to build and maintain. The round drew Qube Research & Technologies, Jump Trading and Arnaud Llinas.
