ColibriTD has raised $4.7M in seed funding, a bet on its hardware-agnostic simulation engine that straddles classical and quantum computing.
The company’s flagship platform, QUICK, is already available through IBM’s Qiskit Function, letting users run high-performance simulations on real quantum hardware today. That puts ColibriTD in a practical lane for industries like aerospace, energy, and defense, where complex physical problems are the norm but quantum-ready workflows are still emerging. The fresh capital gives the startup runway to push QUICK further across hybrid and classical infrastructures, though specifics on how the round will be deployed weren’t disclosed.
