Restaurants looking to streamline their reservation process and capture more bookings just got a boost, as Quebec-based Apero announced it has raised $3.5M in Series A funding. The platform provides an AI receptionist that answers calls and texts around the clock, managing reservations and confirmations directly in a restaurant's book.
Apero aims to help local restaurants generate more reservations and reduce missed calls, offering a suite of tools including table and waitlist management, two-way texting, and analytics, all without per-cover fees. The company, which is funded by Now Book It, a Valsoft Corporation company, also ensures customer data remains with the restaurant.
