Hark has raised $700.0M in Series A funding, an unusually large first round for an AI lab that's still building out its team. The company is developing its own foundation models paired with custom hardware, aiming to create a universal interface between people and machines.
The investor list reads like a who's who of chipmakers and enterprise tech: Parkway Venture Capital, Intel Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Ark Invest, Salesforce Ventures, NVIDIA, and AMD all participated. Hark said the capital will go toward hiring talent from across the industry.
