A startup giving people their voice back through real-time AI has secured $5.7M in Series A funding. Whispp, which develops on-device voice reconstruction technology, announced the round with investments from LUMO Labs and the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator.
The Leiden-based company's AI converts whispered or affected speech into a person’s clear, natural voice, addressing needs in accessibility, enterprise, and consumer markets. Whispp, a TIME Best Inventions 2024 honoree, licenses its technology to mobile and PC OEMs and communications platforms, enabling discreet conversations and supporting those with voice conditions.
