VideoGen has raised $3.3M in seed funding, a round backed by Y Combinator and a roster of investors including Rebel Fund, Lobster Capital, Stretford End Capital, Mento VC, Pioneer Fund, and Decacorn VC.
The company, which describes itself as the fastest and easiest way to create videos, says it already serves over 5 million users worldwide. The fresh capital arrives as VideoGen looks to scale its platform, though specifics on how the funds will be deployed were not disclosed. The startup is also actively hiring, pointing to growth ambitions beyond its current footprint.
