Hylo, a community organizing and collaboration app, has raised $1.0M in funding. Solana Ventures, Colosseum, Mert Mumtaz and Kash Dhanda participated in the round.
The company makes a web and mobile app that bundles group management, messaging and collaboration into one place, aimed at communities and networks that need to scale. Its features include searchable Topics for organizing conversations and files, membership directories that show members' skills, and Offers and Requests that turn discussion into collaboration. Hylo says it never sells ads or user data and will always offer a free version of its software.
