Velaura AI has locked in $110.0M in Series A funding, a hefty first institutional round for the Silicon Valley chipmaker formerly known as Auradine. GSBackers, MARA Holdings, Maverick Capital, Premji Invest, and Qualcomm Ventures all came in on the deal.
The company builds ultra-low power compute silicon aimed at data centers, edge devices, and physical AI applications-a niche where energy efficiency is becoming as critical as raw performance. With backing from Qualcomm Ventures and a roster of crossover and crypto-adjacent investors, the round signals confidence in its founding team’s ability to push breakthrough chip designs into a crowded but hungry market.
