Armoured vehicle crews and commanders could soon benefit from enhanced battlefield awareness, as Vegvisir, an Estonia–Croatia-based defence technology company, has raised $700K to further develop its XR-based situational awareness system. The capital infusion will help the company expand its reach in providing 360° visibility and real-time understanding.
Vegvisir's technology, which includes products like Vegvisir Core and Remote, is already deployed with the Australian Army, its primary recurring customer, and has also been delivered to partners in Ukraine and Estonia, underscoring its impact on improving safety, coordination, and decision-making.
