WNWN.skin, the startup developing sustainable alternatives for the cosmetic industry, has secured $6.1M in Series A funding. The company, whose name is short for Waste Not Want Not and pronounced "Win-Win," aims to eliminate the need for virgin raw materials by transforming agri-food plant byproducts into valuable ingredients.
This capital injection, led by investor PeakBridge, will further WNWN.skin's mission to valorize agricultural waste through advanced fermentation and green chemistry extraction techniques. The funding underscores growing interest in circular economy solutions for the beauty sector.
