Insurers grappling with how to price coverage for autonomous systems now have a new tool, as Valgo, a risk quantification platform for physical AI, announced it has raised $100K in Seed funding. The capital infusion will support its mission to model routes, tasks, and environments, transforming simulation data into the loss estimates insurers need.
Valgo was founded by a team of Stanford PhDs and a Stanford GSB Sloan Fellow, bringing deep expertise in autonomy, risk estimation, and insurance. The Seed round was backed by notable investors including Floodgate, Menlo Ventures, and Y Combinator.
