Donna, an AI assistant built for field sales teams, has raised $4.8M in seed funding. Frontline Ventures, Pitchdrive, Fortino Capital, WeLoveFounders, Syndicate One, New School and Everywhere Ventures participated in the round.
The company's pitch is aimed at a corner of sales that it argues has been neglected: reps who work in the field rather than behind a desk. Donna captures sales interactions without extra input from the user, handles to-dos and scheduling, and prepares personalized briefings ahead of meetings. It also takes over post-meeting follow-ups and CRM updates, which the company says cuts admin time by 75% and improves CRM adoption.
