Tumbleweed has raised $7.7M in seed funding to build what it calls humanity's antigravity machine - turning microgravity from a niche capability into an industrial resource. The round was backed by Pact, Vanagon, PROTOTYPE, EWOR, Koro Capital, ABCapital, Dutch Operator Fund, and Rule30.
The company's pitch rests on what weightlessness makes possible: medicines it says are 10x more effective, semiconductors 10x better, and cells that age 10x faster. Its hardware comes in two parts - Pod, a pre-certified modular payload container that lets customers use microgravity without becoming an aerospace company, and Oasis, the spacecraft that carries Pods up, operates them, and brings them home. Tumbleweed says its first mission launched in July 2026 with paying customers aboard, and that the next four are filling up for launches in 2027 and 2028.
