Tripmakery.com, the Vienna-based startup specializing in automated group travel organization, has secured $1.1 million in its latest funding round. This investment marks a significant milestone for the company, which aims to simplify the often complex and time-consuming process of planning trips for groups of 15 or more people. The capital infusion will support tripmakery's ongoing mission to streamline group travel arrangements across Europe.
Founded in 2016, tripmakery addresses the challenges faced by organizers of group excursions, from sports teams and corporate events to family gatherings and school trips. Its proprietary automated tool connects organizers with suitable accommodations from a network of over 65,000 hotels across Europe. Users input their specific requirements, and the platform contacts relevant hotels, delivering tailored offers directly to the organizer within 24 hours, enabling quick and straightforward booking.
The newly raised funds are earmarked to accelerate tripmakery's product development and enhance its technological infrastructure. The company also plans to expand its team, which has grown steadily since mid-2017, to support its operational scaling and meet increasing demand. This strategic investment will enable tripmakery to further refine its platform, ensuring it continues to provide an efficient and user-friendly experience for group travel planners.
Looking ahead, tripmakery intends to leverage this funding to solidify its position in the European group travel market. The company is focused on continuous innovation and expanding its reach, aiming to make group travel planning even more accessible and hassle-free for a wider range of organizations and individuals.
