Stathera, Inc., a company aiming to redefine the legacy quartz timing market, has closed a $55.0M Series B funding round. The Montreal-headquartered firm, which develops MEMS technology for the precision, scalability, and integration needs of AI, data centers, and connected devices, secured capital from a syndicate of investors.
The round saw participation from Maverick Silicon, Celesta Capital, BDC Capital, MediaTek Innovation Fund, TXC Corporation, and Ultratech Capital Partners. Stathera's patented DualMode® MEMS resonator delivers both kHz and MHz outputs from a single device, designed to reduce board space, BOM cost, and power consumption.
