Rent is due on the first, but payday doesn鈥檛 always line up. Split Pay has raised $125.0M in a Series B round led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital and Max Levchin, to scale its AI-powered payment network that breaks large bills like rent and mortgages into paycheck-timed installments.
The startup鈥檚 pitch is that its proprietary AI models underwrite and detect fraud using raw transaction data, letting it advance funds dynamically without relying on traditional credit scores. As those scores lose relevance, Split Pay is betting that verifiable cash flow-not credit history-will define the next era of consumer finance.
