Crystalys Therapeutics has raised $130.0M in Series B funding to push its gout treatment into late-stage global trials.
The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is developing dotinurad, a next-generation URAT1 inhibitor it describes as having best-in-class potential for safety and efficacy. The drug is headed into global Phase 3 trials as a second-line therapy for gout, backed by clinical data from approvals in multiple Asian markets. Crystalys was co-founded by Novo Holdings and Catalys Pacific.
