Skydio, the U.S.-based drone manufacturer behind autonomous flight technology, has closed a $110.0M Series f funding round. The investment, led by UP Partners, bolsters a company whose flying robots are trusted by over 3,800 agencies and organizations across military, public safety, and critical infrastructure sectors.
The San Mateo-headquartered firm, which designs and assembles its products in the U.S., leverages artificial intelligence to create drones that are easier to operate and safer to fly. Skydio's Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs now operate in 42 states, supporting more than 1,200 public safety agencies and covering 16M Americans within a DFR Dock response zone.
