ThreatLocker has locked in $190.0M in a Series F round, a hefty infusion for the cybersecurity firm that’s been quietly building a name for itself in the Zero Trust space. Elephant, D. E. Shaw Ventures, Arthur Ventures, and Koch Disruptive Technologies all chipped in, signaling confidence in a company that’s grown to serve over 50,000 businesses worldwide.
The Orlando-based outfit, co-founded by Danny Jenkins, Sami Jenkins, and John Carolan, traces its roots to a near-catastrophic phishing attack that nearly sank a company Jenkins was running back in the late ’90s. That scare pushed him toward a proactive, allowlist-based approach to security-one that ditches the reactive whack-a-mole of traditional antivirus. With this fresh capital, ThreatLocker is doubling down on that mission, though specifics on where the money lands remain under wraps.
