Scholar Education has raised $2.0M in seed funding to build AI infrastructure for special education. The company gives every student a 1:1 academic channel while returning time to teachers for the work only they can do.
Its student-facing AI, BaxterBot, delivers 1:1 academic support that adjusts to each student's reading level, accommodations, and language - offering advice and scaffolding thinking rather than handing over answers. On the teacher side, PAWfessor Bruce handles planning, grading, and accommodation tracking. Scholar Education says it grew from one classroom to 29 schools in three years, built on demand that was already there.
