Belgian telecom provider Scarlet has raised $50.0M in Series B funding. The round drew backing from Headline, Notion Capital, Atomico, Kindred Capital VC, Entrepreneurs First and Creandum.
Scarlet offers fixed and mobile telephony, internet and digital TV, positioning itself around low prices and making telecom accessible to all Belgians. The company employs about 100 people and frames its culture around three values: Respect, Team and Daring.
Stockholm based Creandum, which led the 2022 seed round, backs London based Scarlet again in a USD 50 million Series B led by Headline, with new investor Notion Capital and existing investors Atomico, Kindred Capital VC and Entrepreneurs First, to expand its AI medical device certification into the US and Asia Pacific.
The funding will also grow Scarlet's roster of expert AI reviewers and engineers and expand its certification offerings. Nancy Xiao Mclaughlin, Partner at Headline, joins the board.
