Scanntech Uruguay, a prominent player in Latin America's retail technology and information sector, has secured $180.0M in new investment. The funding round drew capital from L Catterton, Partners Group, and Bradesco.
The company operates Uruguay's largest network of retail stores, facilitating promotions and alternative income streams. In Brazil, Scanntech manages the country's largest information network for supermarkets and self-service stores, covering 70% of total sales and processing $100 billion annually across over 19,000 connected points of sale. It also maintains a presence in Argentina, Peru, and Paraguay.
