HOMA Real Estate has raised $5.0M in seed funding, with Quiet Capital and Cambrian backing the Montevideo-based proptech.
The company positions itself as a real estate operator willing to challenge the status quo of Uruguayan real estate services, leaning on technology to squeeze more value out of each listing. Its pitch centers on quality control: HOMA says fewer than 1% of real estate listings meet its standard, which includes photography, video, virtual tours, floor plans, 3D modeling, virtual staging, drone footage, and SEO-optimized descriptions. It also offers double-checked appraisals, shares deals with other agencies, and gives property owners round-the-clock activity reports.
