The name Solus was derived from the Gaelic word for light, or knowledge, reflecting our company's mission to share our knowledge of lighting with the design, construction and distribution community. Originally formed as a team of eight, Solus quickly grew into a super-team of talented industry professionals with the shared goal of adding value to the design and construction industry in Portland and Southwest Washington. Over the past 10 years, Solus has tripled in size. Each member of the team brings a unique skillset, and the collective expertise of our team covers all facets of the design and construction process.
