Care-tech company Maurice & Nora, which connects seniors and families with student helpers for everyday non-medical tasks, has closed a $1.2M funding round. The capital infusion comes from a mix of investors including Coformaco, Dries Buytaert, 100IN, and Shaping Impact Si3 Fund, alongside individuals like Annemie Colruyt, Stef Goossens, and Lorenz Bogaert.
Maurice & Nora's platform offers flexible support for older adults with needs like groceries and transport, while also assisting families with after-school care. The company also partners with employers to offer its services as an employee benefit, aiming to unburden caregiving staff and support well-being.
