Keiron Printing Technologies, the Eindhoven-based startup aiming to revolutionize electronics manufacturing with its fully digital, contactless solder-paste printing solution, has secured $23.6M in Series A funding. The company, a spin-off from TNO Holst Centre, is developing a Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LiFT) industrialized inline platform that eliminates traditional stencils and consumables, promising zero waste and 100% controlled deposits in Surface Mount Technology (SMT).
The investment round saw participation from Invest-NL, DeepTechXL, and Waves Capital. Keiron's technology, which originated at TNO Holst Centre in 2012, is designed to enable autonomous, self-optimizing electronics manufacturing, defining a new era for SMT production.
