North Vector Dynamics has raised $20.0M in a Series A round as the Canadian defence technology company works to build out a full-spectrum missile capability.
Based in Canada and owned and controlled there, NVD focuses on precision interception, autonomy and advanced propulsion, with a product line that runs from counter-UAS systems to hypersonics aimed at NATO member states and their allies. The company says it's backed by Canadian, American and European defence tech investors and is led by engineers, scientists and operators drawn from academia, NASA and the Canadian Armed Forces. It also positions itself as a partner to defence primes and systems integrators.
