Jooba, an AI-native recruiting firm, has raised $4.0M in seed funding. The round was backed by a16z SPEEDRUN, Scribble Ventures, and Genius Ventures.
The company runs the entire top-of-funnel hiring process for clients, pairing custom AI agents with human recruiting experts to source and reach out to candidates, then deliver them straight to clients' Slack channels under the client's own brand. It positions itself as a cheaper alternative to traditional recruiting agencies, charging a flat monthly fee rather than the usual contingency model.
