IMIO has raised $12.0M in seed funding to build out its line of biological products for commercial agriculture. Sofinnova Partners led the round, with Chipotle's Cultivate Next, Starshot Capital, Grow Together Salinas, Earth Foundry, and Serra Ventures also participating.
The company develops and manufactures shelf-stable biologicals through precision biomanufacturing, turning natural microbial capabilities into concentrated products for growers. Its flagship offering, Re-Gen, is designed to help recapture nutrients from crop residue, improve nutrient efficiency, and prepare fields with less tillage.
