Jagruti Rehabilitation Center has raised $2.9M in Series A funding from Alkemi Growth Capital. The round marks the first outside investment for a rehab network that has grown, since Dr. Amar Shinde founded it in 2008, into the largest in India - 17+ centres, 1,400+ beds and 40+ doctors, with more than 82,000 lives restored along the way.
The model has stayed consistent through that scale-up: full-time psychiatrists on the daily clinical team rather than visiting consultants, round-the-clock nursing and medical support, and structured care built around recovery. Beyond its core psychiatric and de-addiction work, Jagruti also runs Olive Elder Care, which provides residential elder care and assisted living, including specialised support for dementia.
