The quest for more sensitive tools to understand diseases and protect the environment just got a boost, as Invisible-Light Labs GmbH announced it has raised $1.7M in pre-seed funding. The capital, backed by Fund F, xista science ventures, and aws Gründungsfonds, will fuel the development of its radically new infrared sensor technology.
Invisible-Light Labs is pioneering IR sensors based on nanomechanical sensing, designed to offer incomparable sensitivity at room temperature across the NIR to THz spectrum. This breakthrough aims to enable groundbreaking scientific discoveries, with applications spanning improved disease understanding, better drugs, increased safety, and more efficient environmental protection.
