Immunomatics, Inc., a healthtech company building AI software to improve transplant outcomes, has secured $100K in new investment from Myosotis Investments B.V. The company, founded by a transplant survivor, aims to reduce life-threatening complications for patients by providing precise donor-recipient compatibility scoring.
Its platform analyzes the molecular details of each donor-recipient mismatch to produce a rejection-risk score, a more nuanced approach than current clinical practice. This capital follows a $207,740 Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award from the National Institutes of Health, which provided non-dilutive capital and independent scientific review.
