FLTRD has raised $556K to make healthier food choices easier to spot in the supermarket aisle. The Dutch foodtech startup makes a mobile app that lets shoppers scan products, gauge how heavily processed they are through its PureScore rating, and find better alternatives on the spot.
The round drew backing from 4impact capital and Jeroen Lubbers. FLTRD's pitch centers on ultra-processed food: give consumers a clear read on what's in the packet, then offer swaps that don't require a nutrition degree.
