Munich-based clean energy startup Feldwerke has raised $13.5M to push agrivoltaics - solar panels sharing land with farming - into the mainstream of Germany's solar buildout.
Founded in late 2023, the company says it has already built southern Germany's largest agrivoltaic installation and has more than 400 MW of projects in advanced development. The pitch is regional: working with farmers and municipalities on dual-use land that generates power without taking fields out of production.
