A new player in AI infrastructure, EUCLYD, has closed a $231.0M Series A funding round, drawing significant investment from Somerset Capital Partners, Scaleup Europe Fund, EQT, Innovation Industries, and Samsung.
The Eindhoven-based company, founded by Bernardo Kastrup and Atul Sinha - who previously built and sold Silicon Hive to Intel - is tackling the high power and cost of advanced AI models. EUCLYD designs the core processors, memory architecture, and datacentre systems to run these models with far greater efficiency, a discipline rooted in Eindhoven's history of silicon innovation.
