EnergyPathways plc has raised $2.3M from a single institutional investor, capital that will support the company's MESH project - a large-scale energy storage and decarbonization facility planned for the UK market.
MESH is designed to combine long-duration energy storage, flexible low-carbon power capacity, and low-carbon hydrogen and graphite production, with the potential to branch into low-carbon ammonia. The system would connect to the UK grid and nearby offshore wind capacity using existing infrastructure, aiming to capture value from the country's wasted wind power. The company says the facility is expected to provide a secure supply of affordable low-carbon energy for over 25 years.
