Banks and financial institutions are getting a new on-ramp to stablecoin payments, and the startup building it just banked a fresh round of capital. Diameter Pay has raised $10.0M in a Series A round, with CMT Digital and Lightspeed Faction leading the charge.
The company offers embedded payment APIs that let banks move money across global and local rails, spanning multiple currencies and payment systems, with a particular focus on stablecoin transactions. Its compliance automation layer is designed to keep that processing safe and secure, which is likely a key selling point for institutions wary of the regulatory gray areas around digital assets. The funding signals growing investor appetite for infrastructure that bridges traditional finance and crypto-native payments, rather than consumer-facing crypto apps.
