Consensus, the AI-powered search engine designed to simplify access to scientific research papers, has secured $30.0M in new funding. The capital infusion comes as the company, which launched its product in winter 2022, rapidly expands its global footprint, now serving millions of students, researchers, doctors, and consumers worldwide.
The round drew support from a notable group of investors, including GreatPoint Ventures, Union Square Ventures, and Draper Associates. They were joined by prominent individual backers such as DJ Patil, Nat Friedman, and Daniel Gross, signaling strong confidence in Consensus's mission to make complex research more consumable.
